We could do something similar to Biblo Eros and Liquid Passion (Yaoi group). They're technically the same group, but they put all the more mature stuff under one name and the less mature stuff under the other. I don't mind ecchi stuff, I mean, I read Yaoi for crying out loud. So, if we do have a separate name for the mature stuff, then we can have more of a variety and the people who don't want to deal with the mature manga won't have to. Those who don't mind doing mature stuff can deal with it under the other name. Just a thought.

That's not a bad idea.
But we're far to young & small a group to have the staff split up like that.
Also, we'd need an admin ok with ecchi etc.
So for now, we'll just concentrate on what we have already and maybe when we're a biig group, we could have a faction dealing with mature stuff. ^^

That's to be expected. I was thinking that when we have a bigger staff we could do that. Besides, I think right now we have enough projects. We don't really need to add anymore at the moment.

I'd like to make some suggestions!

1. Since you picked Aries, there is another similar old-school shoujo named Bride of Deimos. If you are familiar with it, there was also an OVA episode. Years ago, only 7 volumes out of 17 were licensed in English and many were disappointed. I was seeing comments around communities that people would like to see the others in English too. Of course if you decide to pick it, I will help too - There are chinese/japanese scans around.

2. I like buying certain RAWs whenever (I need to practice my Japanese after all) and I have ordered a manga named Ou no Ibara by TOGAWA Mitomo. (I liked the artwork too...)
It is 5 volumes so far. Anyway, I tried looking for chinese/japanese scans of it and there is none. Except some previews. If anyone is interested in it, I could provide the raws once I get my scanner soon.

Both of them look good. But right now we are shorthanded on staff. We can't pick them up immediately, but as soon as we can get new staff we can. :D
Also, can't really pass up a chance for HQ raws. ;)

my brother told me it was something like
'cover iron with cloth, melt the glue on the binder by heating the glue-attached area of the book (w/o opening it I think), let it drip off, then scan the page in individually'
though that destroys the raw.

Just a question; Let's assume there is a manga that the scanlation group who has picked it is extremely slow. Can we still pick it or we gotta contact the group & inform them for a joint, etc.?

Because I see that Hatsukiai is already picked by another group but if we were to pick it, would we release the next chapter or contact the certain group and inform them?

We were doing Hatsu, but we dropped it because another group was already doing it...

I think both our groups actually picked up that project at about the same time but they released the first chap ahead of us and got their group stamp on that project, i.e. It's theirs. Well I guess we could still release other chapters ahead of em but I don't think it will be nice/polite/ethical. That's all xD

Yes I agree with Emo. We could out do them (and I am sure we could, we are a fast group) but thats not very nice. Especially to a new group.
